World Congress of Accountants 2022

IoA – Institute of Analytics is named as the official Analytics Associate for one of the world’s largest gatherings of accountants and finance professionals, the 21st World Congress of Accountants 2022 scheduled to take place between November 18th and 21st, 2022 in Mumbai, India. IoA was previously associated with WCoA 2018 held in Sydney as an Analytics Partner.

Organised under the aegis of IFAC and hosted by ICAI, WCoA is all about celebrating ideas for the future. The World Congress, this time, would dwell upon the theme “Building Trust Enabling Sustainability” keeping in mind the important role the accountancy profession is playing as a protector of public interest and how the profession can play an instrumental role to enable sustainable economies for the future.

Often referred to as ‘The Olympics of the accounting professionals’; the WCoA is conducted every four years. WCoA brings together Global Leaders to discuss, find solutions to Global Challenges and centre itself around building prosperity and operating in the public interest to strike right at the heart of the profession and how it operates on the global stage.

Datacamp - Learning Tracks

All IoA members can use the installation-free Data Camp environments to build, practice and test your skills in Data Camp. We have two custom built tracks to allow you to ensure your training is on course to fulfil your career goals. We’ve recommended two tracks of knowledge and analytics study aligned to all of the 7 first years in the Data Competency Framework.

Which Track is for me?

Business analyst with R: This track will take you through spreadsheet skills and BI tools in the early years, and build up your coding skills to use R environments in the later years with more challenging data projects.

Python analyst: This track goes straight into Python coding and will take you all the way to working with unstructured data and deep learning techniques.
Look for the track name and year when you search for a course.
With our custom tracks, we’ve selected the skills that we know employers are looking for but remember that you can also take any of the 300 courses and assessments and projects any time you want and add that to your CPD records, too. You can find a post discussing the aims and structure of the tracks here.
